Review Methodology

The evidence behind a profile should be as visible as its conclusion.

Start with the scope

A source-based profile summarises published information and identifies due-diligence questions. A hands-on review requires documented practical testing. A verified regulatory check requires a dated match against the appropriate official register. These are separate activities.

Forex and CFD brokers

• Legal entity: company name, jurisdiction and the agreement applicable to the reader’s account.
• Costs: spread, commission, overnight charges and relevant non-trading fees.
• Trading conditions: instruments, platform access, execution terms and restrictions.
• Account operations: funding, withdrawals, complaints and account closure.

Prop-firm programmes

• Exact programme, fee, evaluation stages and eligibility.
• Daily and maximum loss definitions, time zone and treatment of open positions.
• Restricted practices, consistency requirements where applicable, and account-review rules.
• Trading environment, reward agreement and termination conditions.

Financial projects and tools

We examine the function of the product, its data or custody model where relevant, cost, terms, limitations and the evidence behind performance claims. Different service types require different evidence.

Sources, dates and scores

Profiles link to their primary source and show the date it was checked. Provider marketing statements remain provider statements. A numerical score will only be introduced with a published scoring framework and sufficient supporting evidence; no current listing order should be interpreted as a score.

Corrections

If a source changes, its current terms take precedence over an older summary. Editorial updates distinguish corrected facts from changed product terms. Original source links and review dates help readers check the current position. Public comments, member accounts and user-submitted reviews are not offered on Traxde.
